A new water bowser has been commissioned by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Student Affairs at the Transport Section. The 40,000 litres water bowser was commissioned today, December, 7, 2016.

Transport and garage members of staff held a tree caring exercise today 9th June 2016. The event was held in support of the University's reforestation and conservation efforts. The members of staff carried out tree caring activities on 100 trees at the university grounds near the swimming pool.

The University has experienced a significant growth in student population over the years. In a bid to continue providing world class transport services; transport and garage department has acquired three new buses. The Isuzu FVR23R model buses will aid in transportation of students at the colleges of Health Sciences, Biological and Physical Sciences and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
