UNFPA donates vehicle to PSRI

United Nations Population Fund Africa(UNFPA) donated a vehicle to Population Studies Research Institute(PSRI) at a function held at the Central Administration reception area.The motor vehicle, a Toyota Land Cruiser, is meant to ease logistical challenges during research activities by the Institute.

 UNFPA, Kenya Country Office Representative, Dr. Benjamin O. Alli handed over the vehicle to Professor Henry Mutoro, Ag. Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic Affairs. Others who graced the ocassion include: Professor Enos Njeru, Principal, College of Humanities and Social Sciences; Professor Lawrence Ikamari, Director, Population Studies Research Institute and Mr. Joseph Obosi, College Registrar,College of Humanities and Social Sciences. This donation is a sign of recognition for the role played by the University as a leader in research activities.

Transport and Garage department was represented at the function by Mr. David Sereti, Assistant Registrar and Mr. Thomas Tenai, Ag. Assistant Transport Officer.
